Bra Brand Breakdown
Several weeks ago I put up a post asking for bra recommendations and y’all had a lot to say! In total, I ended up with 30 brand recommendations but the actual inclusivity was all over the place which prompted me to create the following resource:
Bra Brand Breakdown by Size Inclusive Collective
I’ve included all of the brands that were recommended to me and included the following details:
Notes on inclusivity in terms of body diversity, when brands are trans-friendly (including compression, tucking and packing options), as well as my personal experiences with a few of the brands that I have tried so far.
I’ve also included their band size range, cup size range, maximum bra size based on the maximum band (since many times larger cup sizes are reserved for small band sizes), pricing, and website links.
Please note that I do not have affiliations with any of the brands and have not received any products from anyone as of writing this post. If this ever changes I will add a note and make sure it is very obvious if there is an affiliate link.
I also wanted to mention that there will be nipples when browsing many of these sites. I figure bra shopping should probably be done from home but if you happen to be browsing at work, many of these sites may be considered not safe for work (NSFW) and at least one brand includes images of bare chests/breasts to help find sizes to match your body type. Just consider this a friendly reminder to be safe.
And a final suggestion: If you’re purchasing a bra with clasps, consider ordering a bra extender directly from the brand if available. Not all bra extenders fit all brands/bands and it might save you some time and headache later.
